Solar power seems to be finally becoming commercially viable in many regions of the world, for commercial, utility-scale and residential installations. With its energy production correlated to peak energy usage and its somewhat uncorrelated results vs. wind, we are strong believers in a "less intrusive" solar energy production.
Fuel cells seem to still have a bit to go before they are commercially successful. However, the abundance of natural gas in the U.S. and the more efficient conversion to energy (vs. internal combustion) are compelling. And fuel cell's generate water as a by product, of course.
Lastly, we are hoping for further advances in battery technology. Not only for automobiles and electronics -- we believe there will be progress in commercial electrical power storage solutions (for daily and emergency use).
